ridethedriveJune 2nd- Ride the Drive (Downtown)
Join your friends, family, and neighbors for one of the most fun rides of the summer. Ride the Drive is a 6 mile loop on some of Madison’s most car packed streets. Enjoy downtown by bike without the worry of car traffic. On the loop will be 4 major stop locations with info tents from B Cycles, Wisconsin Bike Fed, Saris Cycling Group, We Are All Mechanics, Dream Bikes, and more!

Lots of area businesses do special activities and giveaways, so be sure to stop and check them out. Ride the Drive is a FREE event for all ages.

June 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th– EAT PLAY BIKE
Madison’s south side just got a little more fun this summer! Bring the family to EAT PLAY BIKE at the Villager Mall on Thursday nights through June 27th. There’s music, food, activities, and educational workshops for cyclists new and old. All the events are FREE, so there’s no excuse not to go!

New Belgium once again brings their famous Clips of Faith tour through Madison. The annual summer event takes place in Olin Park off of John Nolen Drive. The event itself is free, but is also a fundraiser for the Wisconsin Bike Fed. Beer sales, swag sales, and games help raise funds for the nation’s largest state run cycling non-profit

The Bike Fed is still looking for volunteers to help work the event. Serve brew or park some bikes in the valet area and get a free t-shirt, beer, and volunteer party the day before the event.

June 22Darbo Bike Rodeo
The Darbo neighborhood off of Milwaukee St. is playing host to a FREE bike rodeo. Join Revolution Cycles, Planet Bike, the Salvation Army, Dean Care, and a bunch of other sponsors for a day of cycling fun! While the event is open to all, Darbo/Washington residents get served first for the bike repair, replacement tires, and bike lights.

The event also has free kids helmets, an educational workshop, and you can enter to win a number of prizes.

June 22Honor Ride; Fundraiser for Ride 2 Recovery

Join veterans and civilians alike for this bike ride fundraiser for Ride 2 Recovery. The non-competitive bike ride has 3 route options including  12 mile, 37 mile, and 70 mile loops around southern Wisconsin. The ride starts and ends at Saris Cycling Group’s headquarters on Verona Rd. in Madison, WI. Registration is open online and there is also day of registration at the event. Enjoy a picnic/party post ride at Saris with music, food, and fun!
